Capturing Time and Impressions: The Art of Ole Jauch
My name is Ole Jauch, and I am a visual artist and art photographer born in 1964 in Odense, Denmark. Throughout my adult life, I have dedicated myself to translating the world’s visual impressions and experiences into art.
I express myself through a diverse range of artistic techniques, including photography, graphics, painting, video, sound, and the written word.
My Artistic Vision
Central to my work is the theme of time – an ever-present force that influences our lives and leaves its marks on both us and our surroundings. Just as time shapes us, it similarly influences my photographic creations. Rather than a passive occurrence, time is a vital part of our narrative and history, a concept vividly reflected in my photography and art. The traces time leaves behind are not blemishes, but where beauty and life converge.
Time serves as a vessel for experiences, with photography acting as its container. In a photograph, a defined period is encapsulated as an impression, holding a beginning and an end within its frame.
The Essence of Impressions
My motivation stems from our reactions to the world around us – nature, urban landscapes, and more. I am drawn to moments both minute and monumental, near and distant, where our world intersects with our perceptions. This interplay fuels my creative process, transforming everyday occurrences into extraordinary expressions.
My artworks bear the imprints of their experiences, with each touch and mark encountered along the way celebrated and nurtured. These effects represent the passage of time on both the final piece and its subject.
Exploring Various Mediums
I work across a spectrum of media: photography, painting, printing, and the intersections among them. I’m perpetually in search of novel forms of expression, often allowing the process and materials to guide my explorations. This is particularly evident in my abstract paintings, which emerge through an intuitive and improvisational process fueled by deep emotions and yearnings.
Photographically, I primarily engage in series, enabling themes to evolve organically. Consequently, my pieces often take considerable time to develop. Time is a pivotal element throughout my artistic journey, from the extended exposure periods during photography to the unhurried darkroom process that adds another layer of time. This multilayered temporal aspect is ingrained in all my creations.
A Reflection of Human Experience
At the heart of my work is the endeavor to express elements that resonate with me as a human being. My art delves into the intricacies of time management, living in the present moment, nurturing creativity and curiosity, and embracing the challenges of existence. It encourages daring – daring to embrace the life we’ve been given and to truly own it. These themes are woven into my pieces, acting as vessels for my thoughts and feelings. I seek out motifs that enable me to connect with viewers, facilitating the conveyance of my messages through them.

The UnoEdition.com webshop, is owned and run by Grafik & Foto ApS.
Grafik & Foto ApS accepts online payments with the following credit cards Visa, Mastercard. Payment will only be deducted from your account when the physical item is shipped or the virtual product is created unless otherwise agreed or stated on your order.
Amount reserved
When using a payment card, debit or credit card, a reservation is made for the amount traded for. This amount is reserved until the web shop has processed and shipped your order. When the order is dispatched, the amount will be withdrawn from the account. The reservation time depends on the product/service.
Debit card authorization
When using a Debit Card, you will be able to see that money is reserved on your account and your available amount will therefore appear to be less.
If you or the web shop cancels the order, then the web shop will not be able to withdraw the money from your account, but you will still be able to see the reservation amount on your account for some time.
Note, that only the bank (or card issuer) can cancel such reservation.
Credit Card authorization
The money will be withdrawn from your account when the web shop processes and withdraws the payment from your order. The transaction will now appear in your bank overview.
All prices on the website include VAT.

Grafik & Foto ApS uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information with SSL protocol, meaning your data is secure and cannot be read by other third parties.
The delivery time for your order is 5 – 10 dage.
Grafik & Foto ApS uses GLS – Erhverv, GLS – Privat, GLS – Pakkeshop, PostNord – Privat, PostNord – Erhverv, PostNord – Valgfrit udleveringssted for shipment of your ordered items.
Freight cost is calculated from the weight of the items.
You can choose to have your shipment sent with delivery to your home address or the nearest package shop.
You will receive a Track and Trace-numer upon shipment, which allows you to track the shipment at all times.
Grafik & Foto ApS offers a 14 days full refund on goods purchased on the website unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order.
The 14 day period starts on the day the order is delivered. Any return costs you incur yourself.
The request for cancellation must be notified to us no later than 14 after the delivery, and be with us no later than 14 days after we are informed of your use of the right of cancellation/withdrawal.
If you wish to make use of your right to withdraw the purchase, you must send us an e-mail om info@unoedition.com. In your message, clearly make us aware, that you want to use your right of withdrawal.
You are responsible for the condition of the product, and of the decreased value of the goods caused by handling it other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the goods.
This means, that you have to try the item in the same way as if you were shopping in a physical store.
If the item is tested/used in addition to what is described above, it is considered used and of decreased value. This means, that when the purchase is canceled, you will receive a minor portion or none of the purchase amount refunded. It is up to Grafik & Foto ApS to evaluate the item’s condition.
There is a 2 year warranty on products according to the Danish Sales Law. The warranty applies to all errors in software, material and fabrication.
Complaints regarding errors and defects must be reported to Grafik & Foto ApS in a reasonable time after the goods have been received. We consider af maximum of months as a reasonable time, unless otherwise agreed. We will refund reasonable shipping costs.
The complaint waives right to warranty if the items are handled improperly or unusually. Grafik & Foto ApS covers return costs to a reasonable extent.

It is prerequisite for making a complaint that the product or service you want to complain about cost at least DKK 1,100 and a maximum of DKK 100,000. The amount limits can be changed. You must pay a fee to have the complaint processed.
